CORPORATE PLANNING BODY
This, being the top-most management team in the
Fisheries Department, is responsible for :-
- Amending development policies and strategies for the fisheries
resources and potentials of the country;
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress of Departmental projects
and the development of the fisheries industry;
- Handling the fisheries information system so as to manage the
fisheries and the human resources development;
- Evaluating the requirement of international relations with
regional and international organizations.
The members of the Corporate Planning
Body team are also overseeing
the development and administration of a few sections/units of the Department. This is to
ensure the smooth running of the Department and each Corporate Planning
Body member will not be
handling too much of trivial and routine work.
