which eat planktons. They are called planktivorous fish and mainly
pelagics. However, all molluscan shellfish are affected by red tide
organisms. Bigger fish such as grouper, jacks, carangids and other
demersal species, crustaceans such as shrimps and crabs, and squids are
not affected by red tide.
