Main Functions

• Production of Post Larva from selected families to avoid inbreeding of ( L. stylirostris) Rostris for Broodstock Production;

• Grow out of L. stylirostris and P. monodon larvae to adult size;

• Mass selection of individuals for enhanced growth and survival traits;

• Enforce biosecurity regulations, to maintain an SPF status of the stock and the facility;

• Health surveillance plan, supervise and follow health surveillance plan to assure the health status of all the stocks;

• Oversee the nutrition department, coordinate activities and fulfill the department needs;

• Overall management of the facilities as well as the breeding program for ( L. stylirostris) rostris shrimp and (P. monodon) tiger prawn.
