The
section is responsible for :-
-
To monitor the health status of the aquaculture industry
through the surveillance program as an early warning system of disease
occurrence and preventive measures of disease outbreak;
-
To provide diagnostic analysis for aquatic animal
diseases;
-
To conduct water quality analysis related to disease
diagnosis and fish health problem;
-
Provide technical advise on fish health management;
-
To conduct aquatic animal diseases surveillance and
reporting;
-
To conduct on site visit to aquaculture farms where there
are fish health problems;
-
To issue health certificate for exporting live aquatic
animal;
-
Provide services for international client for diagnosis
viral diseases of aquatic animal.
