The Department of Fisheries, Brunei Darussalam, participated in Seafood Expo Asia 2026, held from 2–4 September 2026 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore.
The three-day expo brought together seafood industry stakeholders, including producers, buyers, distributors and other related organisations, providing a platform to showcase seafood products and services, explore business opportunities and strengthen industry networks.
The participation provided the Department with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of current market trends, consumer preferences, product development, packaging and international industry standards. It also enabled the Department to explore potential market opportunities and establish connections with buyers, distributors and other industry stakeholders, supporting efforts to provide relevant information and guidance to local seafood businesses.
