The Department of Fisheries participated in the 3rd ASEAN Coordinating Task Force on Blue Economy Meeting and the 4th ASEAN Blue Economy Forum, held on 24–25 August 2026 in Metro Manila, Philippines, together with an officer from the Research and Strategic Development Division, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
The meetings provided an opportunity to discuss the ASEAN Blue Economy Implementation Plan Roadmap 2026–2030, exchange experiences and best practices, and strengthen cooperation among ASEAN Member States. The participation also supported the sharing of knowledge and identification of potential areas for collaboration towards the sustainable and inclusive development of the region’s Blue Economy.
